Explore, taste and experience the great flavours of the region at the heritage stations of Amamoor, Dagun and Gympie and on board the Rattler steam train as you wind your way through the stunning Mary Valley.
With a toot and a whistle you’re away as local Chefs Matt Golinski, Mark Johnson and James Barnden create your 5-course degustation journey served at the heritage stations and on board the Rattler steam train as you wind through the stunning Mary Valley.
Local produce will be the hero for each course, complimented with a matched beverage and entertainment.
From start to finish on board the return journey from Amamoor to Gympie, the story of food, wine and local produce will be proudly on show.
Each carriage that carries you on your culinary journey has its own unique character. Local volunteers will be on board to serve and share stories of the region, its produce and the Mary Valley Rattler line.
Return transfers to Amamoor are available at an additional cost from Mooloolaba and Maroochydore with Active Tours and Transfers. This event is degustation with a difference!
Courses will be served standing up at the stations and on board.
Amamoor to Gympie, back to Amamoor.
