Meet the Team - Julia! Julia is our Safety, HR & Business Support Manager here at the Mary Valley Rattler. In other words, we wouldn’t be able to operate without her! You’ll often find Julia at the station, down in the workshop, out on track and everywhere in-between! You might even be lucky enough to see her collecting the staff baton from our drivers as the locomotive arrives back at the station “I remember I used to drive past the vacant station and yards when I moved to Gympie in 2013. I always felt a connection to the story so, when the opportunity came up in early 2017 to join the team I jumped at it. I often think about the many people who have contributed to this railway over time and I believe it is our job to ensure the valley echoes the whistle, long after our time is up. I have many favourite people and places along the journey, but my favourite would be the hearty waves as our loco comes up into Gympie in the glow of the afternoon sun.
